Navigating College Can Feel Like a Lot—You Don't Have to Do It Alone.
Hello, I'm Kasandra, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping adolescents, young adults, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care.
College can be an exciting time of growth and independence, but it can also bring stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, academic pressure, uncertainty about the future, and the feeling that you're expected to have everything figured out. Whether you're adjusting to college life, navigating a major life transition, struggling with confidence, managing anxiety, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy can provide a space to pause, process, and move forward.
With 10 years of clinical experience, I take a collaborative, client-centered, and strengths-based approach to therapy. I believe you already possess strengths and abilities that can help you navigate difficult situations, and my role is to help you recognize those strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and build greater confidence in yourself.
You don't have to have a specific diagnosis or know exactly what you need from therapy to reach out. Sometimes, you may simply know that something feels different, you're struggling to keep up, or you want support as you figure out your next step.
Together, we can explore what's weighing on you, identify your strengths, and develop tools to help you navigate this chapter of your life with greater confidence, clarity, and balance.
Starting therapy is a courageous step. You don't have to navigate college and everything that comes with it alone.
