Karlee Cousins
Hi! I work best with clients who are figuring out who they are, where they belong, and how to navigate stress, relationships, and big life changes. Many of the people I support come from multicultural, multiracial, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, or immigrant backgrounds, and are looking for a space where all parts of their identity are understood and respected.
You might be dealing with anxiety, family pressure, identity questions, or feeling overwhelmed balancing everything. Some clients I work with are also navigating the impact of immigration experiences, acculturation stress, or racial trauma, whether from personal experiences, family history, or systemic challenges. These experiences can shape how you see yourself and move through the world, and you do not have to process them alone.
You do not have to have it all figured out. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and find ways to move forward that feel right for you.
In sessions, we will look at both the deeper parts of your story and practical tools to help you feel better day to day. I often use a mix of approaches, including exploring patterns from your past, building coping strategies, and working on how your thoughts and feelings connect.
My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your lived experience. I aim to create a space where you feel safe being fully yourself, no pressure, no judgment, just support as you grow, heal, and navigate this stage of life.
