Accepting clients Last Updated 19 days ago

I believe that many of our patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving make sense given our context and experiences. I encourage clients to explore both their past and present in order to better understand which patterns work for them and which they’d like to adjust. By collaborating with clients, I help them to identify their strengths and build new skills and insights for managing life’s stressors. I also incorporate mindfulness and movement practices based on client need and interest.

I have experience helping people address complex trauma, post traumatic stress, relationship concerns, identity exploration, suicidality, self-harm, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and OCD. I also enjoy helping transplants, expats, and those experiencing life transitions navigate the process of change.

I trust in each person’s potential for growth and innate ability to recover from adversity. I believe that change happens within a collaborative relationship in which clients feel understood, supported, and challenged. I use warmth, authenticity, and humor to build a trusting space for clients to reflect and grow.
