We all go through life having had many relationship experiences. Some stay with us as the expectations we have for ourselves and others. I practice an approach to psychotherapy that focuses on the development of empathy, or 'knowing with,' between client and therapist in order to uncover previously unknown or inaccessible sources of frustration and distress. I treat clients with attentiveness to understand the ways in which feelings, events and meanings create behavior.
