Julie Medlin
I provide therapy to young adults who are coping with the stressors of college. I routinely help people who are coping with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and impulse control problems. In addition to my general practice, I specialize in helping people who have a history of sexual abuse and/or sexual acting out. I also conduct psychological evaluations that can assist with understanding the root of the problem and can clarify a person's diagnosis, which can help with determining what type of treatment and/or medication may be needed.
There are many other therapists in my group private practice that offer additional therapy services such as substance abuse treatment, trauma treatment (including EMDR), treatment for ADHD, treatment that addresses gender identity concerns, etc. The cost of therapy depends on which therapist you see (master's level versus doctoral level).
In addition to the insurances listed below, I am also on Wellcare and CareSource.
