Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Marriage & Family Therapists
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Connecticut. I have been practicing for 23 years and work with individuals and couples with a variety of issues. My goal is to provide my clients a safe, nurturing environment that allows them to explore and seek the help that they need or want and achieve their full potential while maintaining positive, healthy relationships.
My approach includes being aware of patterns, building on strengths, and developing positive coping strategies. Awareness of one's patterns allows opportunity for change. Treatment with clients is individually based and utilizes a variety of theoretical perspectives including cognitive behavioral, strengths perspective, and solution-focused therapy.
I enjoy helping people find happiness and wholeness through making improvements in their lives. While I believe that each person deserves an individualized treatment plan, I mostly work from a cognitive behavioral standpoint which means that along with encouraging better self care and identifying the root of the problem. I will help you identify and change the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are perpetuating your struggles. I have a very warm, supportive and non-judgmental approach that will give you the safe space you need to achieve your goals. I understand how hard it can be to reach out for help, so I applaud you for taking this first step, and would love to support you in this journey.
