I have an affinity toward working with creative personalities. I practice direct therapy. Originally a student of alternative schooling and someone who may have sat in a chair like yours, I looked for therapists and ways to learn that worked for me personally. Before my graduate program, I had found that what some therapists lacked in method, others had in heart. In my Master’s program, I studied REBT, ACT tx (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and mindfulness/meditation, which are the top tier of evidence-based practices and treatments today. REBT, (Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy), is the original CBT and is a teaching model; this means I will teach you how to utilize it for decreasing negative emotions and turning them over into more positive/less negative ones, yourself.
