Julia Robins

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, MA, LMHC
Last Updated 30+ days ago

I help my clients identify and understand how trauma is holding them back. Together, we will strengthen your sense of safety and connection, link your thoughts and emotions to a felt sense in your body, and listen to your intuition while building self-compassion.

At a pace that works best for you, I’ll help you find language to better understand and express your experiences, build practices to support you in processing and releasing distressing memories, discover where and how you feel your feelings, and rebuild your capacity to trust and hold compassion for yourself.

My therapeutic style is active, engaged and heavily indebted to intersectionality and anti-oppression movements. My services are LGBTQ+ affirming and competent and informed by Health at Every Size (HAES). I listen deeply, ask questions, and gently challenge you to become aware of beliefs, relationships and patterns that may be contributing to what’s bringing you to therapy.
