Joshua Bock
Life sometimes places us in situations that we feel we may not be able to handle alone. As your therapist it would be my honor to join you in navigating the challenges you face. I see each client as a whole person rather than as a collection of symptoms and work with you to understand how you got to where you are and how to get to where you’d like to be. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ related issues, Anxiety, OCD, GAD, Agoraphobia, Panic Disorder, ADHD, ASD, and Depression. I am also currently accepting clients in search of Pre-Surgical Evaluation for Gender Affirming Surgery (GAS)
Regardless of your presenting concern, I approach therapy as a collaboration that allows us each to share our expertise; mine in psychological theory and your expertise in yourself and your unique needs. This philosophy shapes our therapy space as we determine what type of environment works best for you, whether that be more structured or free-flowing.
Sessions may range from activities that target specific behaviors to more broad discussions about your overall life and sense of self to help us better understand your experience. It is my firmest belief that everyone is capable of change. My role is to help you explore what that looks like for you and to help you to live a happier and more fulfilled life.
