Josh Levine LCSW LLC
I know that it isn’t always easy deciding to see a therapist, but I’m glad you made it to my page. I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Whether you’re dealing with acute symptoms or long-standing issues, I am here to provide a safe, empathetic, and effective therapeutic environment. I view the therapeutic relationship as a shared experience, and my goals are to help you meet your goals.
My approach integrates a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Humanistic Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, and various trauma-focused interventions. This multifaceted approach allows me to tailor my strategies to best meet your needs and support you.
I graduated from Columbia Univ. School of Social Work, and I am currently serving as a program coordinator at a leading NY metropolitan area medical center. I am well published in peer-reviewed academic journals, and this allows me to stay at the forefront of the latest developments in psychology to ensure that our sessions are informed by best practices.
