Psychologist, Ph.D.

I am a psychologist specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression. CBT is a type of therapy that helps people feel better and achieve life goals by developing new ways of thinking, feeling, and interacting with themselves and their world.

As a scientist-practitioner, I am committed to providing treatment that is proven to work, including CBT, ERP, and mindfulness. However, psychological science can only take us part of the way to your therapeutic goals. Your expertise in your own experience is needed to get us the rest of the way there. For this reason, I will actively collaborate with you to tailor your therapy experience to your unique needs, challenges, and values.

Because of my professional experience across academic and medical institutions both here in the United States and abroad, I am particularly familiar with the unique therapeutic needs and challenges of college students, graduate students, expats, academics, higher education professionals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
