Jonah Bayer

Hi, my name is Jonah Bayer and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts. I primarily work with students on anxiety, depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the music industry for two decades and also specialize in the unique challenges and pressures that can occur in creative collaborations.

I give my clients a roadmap for personalized therapeutic goals, developing targeted coping skills and identifying triggers that may be unconsciously holding them back from living in a value-driven manner. " I use a blend of modalities, including DBT, EMDR and mindfulness skills in a holistic way to help work through issues that might be holding you back.

My practice is unique due to my own life informed experience as a musician, journalist and psychotherapist. I truly believe that becoming less identified with unhelpful thought patterns can be truly liberating—yet it takes practice. I am passionate about helping my clients reach their goals and improve the ways they move through the world.
