Jodi Wiman is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who received her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in 2002. Her training has allowed her to work in settings such as prisons, sexual assault crisis centers, and domestic violence shelters, and she has spent her post graduate career working in community mental health and private practice. In 2012, Jodi completed training to become an Illinois and Missouri State Supreme Court Certified Divorce Mediator.
Jodi utilizes a wide range of therapeutic approaches because she believes that therapy is most effective when it matches the unique set of needs and dynamics each client brings to the session; however, she frequently uses CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectal Behavioral Therapy).
Jodi happily works with all age groups and treats most problem areas, but has found a passion in working with veterans, couples and families, and those with serious and persistent mental illnesses, as well as individuals with PTSD, depression, and/or anxiety.
