As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I’ve cultivated my practice across diverse mental health settings, finding deep fulfillment in outpatient care and emergency crisis intervention. To me, there’s something truly meaningful about building genuine connections with people over time, accompanying them through their healing path with all its ups and downs. Throughout my ER crisis work, I’ve also recognized the quiet power of being a steady presence, offering immediate assistance when everything feels overwhelming.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families across all age groups and cultural backgrounds. These experiences have shaped my approach with deep empathy, cultural humility, and a strong commitment to meeting people exactly where they are. I’ve worked closely with children, their families, young adults finding their footing, middle-aged adults navigating life complexities, and older adults facing life transitions. I also find deep meaning in supporting individuals navigating unique challenges, including those from underserved or marginalized communities such as veterans, immigrants, and BIPOC populations.
In my practice, I provide individualized medication management integrated with psychotherapy and holistic approaches that consider the whole person. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and psychosis, as well as maternal mental health, identity exploration, cultural concerns, and relationship challenges. Between our sessions, I often suggest manageable homework exercises to help ground our work in daily life. I also incorporate nutraceuticals when needed and offer nutritional guidance, recognizing the powerful connection between what we eat and how we feel.
When we work together, you’ll find a space free of judgment where I strive to destigmatize mental healthcare, particularly for diverse communities facing unique barriers. I believe healing happens in partnership — insights about your own life combined with my clinical expertise create something more powerful than either of us could achieve alone. Whether you’re looking for immediate relief or deeper transformation, my focus remains on empowering you to feel genuinely understood and supported throughout your journey.
