“The more I hold myself close and fully embrace who I am, the more I thrive.” — Elliot Page
It is my goal to create a space where you feel safe to be who you truly are, and to meet you where you are at. The act of loving and accepting yourself can be a struggle, but it is not an impossible task. Using ideas like radical self love and acceptance, you can learn to love who you are today, and use that to inform who and where you want to be tomorrow! I find that the more you are able to appreciate who you truly are, the more joy you will be able to find in the world around you. I thrive to be flexible with my approach, and want to make going to therapy feel easy, and even fun!
I have previous experience working in crisis intervention with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. Through this work I have gained knowledge in providing a trauma informed and empowering environment. I have also worked with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community, and have a Bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender Studies.
Seeing live music, and crafting are my favorite forms of self care. I value creativity and playfulness, and use these to inform how I move through the world. I have 3 cats and a fish that I adore with my whole heart.
