Jing Li
I believe emotional healing happens in a therapeutic relationship. I offer relations-oriented, emotion-focused psychotherapy to clients interested in relieving symptoms, identifying patterns, resolving conflicts, building satisfying relationships, finding fulfillment in life, etc. My work is trauma-informed due to my passion for trauma treatment, especially that of developmental trauma, and an understanding that traumatic experience is existentially inevitable in human life. I also have a particular interest in helping college/graduate students, parents having young children, and new immigrants navigate challenging life situations.
Guided by a humanistic and dynamic approach, I help people create desired, lasting changes. Our work together will be highly individualized, to first gain a thorough understanding of you and then meet your unique needs towards emotional growth and other goals. My rich cross-cultural experience is a valuable asset in my work with diverse populations.
Life is a journey and can be turbulent. I would like to be a travel companion in your journey of self-exploration, self-discovery, and self-improvement!
