Welcome! I’m Jim Yelinek, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I provide individual therapy via telehealth to adults throughout Massachusetts.
College and young adulthood can bring a lot of change: academic pressure, anxiety, relationships, questions about identity, uncertainty about the future, or simply feeling overwhelmed. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand what they're experiencing, develop practical ways of coping, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
My approach is warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental, and I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself. I work with concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem, life transitions, grief, social anxiety, and LGBTQ+ and identity-related concerns.
