Jill Papanek - Western Connecticut Counseling

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LMSW
Last Updated 30+ days ago

I am a Master's Level Social Worker at Western Connecticut Counseling. I also have worked at Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital for the past 3 years. This experience has provided me with the clinical training to work with adults of all ages, in different stages of their lives and all gender, sexual orientation, identity, race, religion, and socioeconomic status. I can help you navigate life transitions, relationship struggles, childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, and any other challenge you are facing.

I prefer an integrated therapeutic approach with an emphasis on Person-Centered interventions because therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I utilize evidence-based techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, focusing on the unique strengths of each client.

Compassion, empathy and non-judgment of my clients is paramount. Providing this type of safe and supportive environment helps my clients express their thoughts and feelings on their path to achieving positive change.
