Jescia received her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2021, from Western New Mexico University, and is a Licensed Social Worker. She chose social work as a second career after practicing law as an Assistant District Attorney in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She has a broad range of experience, and brings unique qualifications to therapy with a variety of people. Jescia has experience providing clinical support to professionals in high stress occupations, and who are in recovery from addiction. She also works with adolescents and adults who are experiencing the pain of relational trauma, including the effects of divorce, separation, addiction, and infidelity. Jescia’s approach is client-centered, and collaborative. She understands each person as having a unique set of strengths and needs, and uses an integrated system of therapeutic modalities. These modalities include trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, somatic experiencing, parts work, mindfulness, art, and creative writing. Jescia is warm, empathetic, and will walk with you along the shifting, and sometimes daunting, pathways of self-exploration, and self-determination.
