Jeremy Greenberg
Hi. I'm Jeremy. For 17 years I’ve been helping students navigate their complexities.
I can meet in person - my office is a 2-minute walk from campus - or via telehealth.
I’m in-network with the Princeton & Aetna Student Health Plans. Weekend & Evening options.
I’ve worked extensively with Grad students, Int’l students, First-gen & low-income & Athletes
I’ve supported students from diverse communities including LGBTQ, people of color, immigrants, and indigenous peoples. I treat using the following Specialties (at bottom).
Issues I Support
Your time at Princeton is unique. Whether you’re just starting out, about to graduate, or somewhere in the messy middle, I provide personalized support for common student challenges including:
• Anxiety, stress & perfectionism
• Burnout & procrastination
• Depression & grief
• Identity & belonging
• Trauma / PTSD
• Relationship and family issues
• Impostor syndrome & major life transitions
• Sleep & motivation challenges
• Addictions & compulsive behaviors
My Approach to Therapy
Sessions feel like a conversation with someone who gets it. No pressure, no psychobabble —just space to breathe, reflect, and grow.
• I'm not here to make you happy. I will challenge you to face reality, learn yourself and get closer to your goals.
• I offer a confidential, non-judgmental, and deeply empathic safe space to unpack what's going on and figure out your next steps.
I draw from a combination of modalities including:
• CBT, DBT, Mindfulness & Exposure for practical strategies
• IFS and EFT for deeper emotional insight, self-compassion and lasting improvements (Think: Pixar’s Inside Out)
-Together, we’ll strengthen your coping tools, build emotional resilience, and explore what really matters to you
Cost and Insurance
• No-cost initial consultation/connect— to see if we’re a fit
• If you’re on the Princeton SHP (Aetna Student Health Plan): sessions are just a $10 co-pay
• Out-of-network: sessions are $200 (superbills provided for reimbursement)
Taking the first step can be challenging, which is why I offer a free first chat. It's a relaxed way for us to connect, for you to ask questions and to see if we’re a good fit.
You don’t have to figure things out alone — just bring your real self and we’ll explore things together. Reach out anytime. I’m here when you’re ready.
