I graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Couple and Family Therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. I am extensively trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and EMDR. I have been in private practice since 2010.

My primary areas of focus are relationships, sexuality, trauma, depression and anxiety. My therapeutic approaches are based in Attachment Theory, Experiential Theory and Trauma Theory. I enjoy helping clients to access emotions, understand motivations and deepen relationships (with themselves and others).

My style is warm, authentic and collaborative. I pride myself on being straightforward and honest and want to help people to genuinely connect with themselves and significant others. I truly enjoy my work and have a great deal of respect for my clients’ efforts and progress. I am proud to have worked with people from a variety of cultures, backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, and religious/spiritual traditions.
