Jennifer Lopez
I specialize in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, panic and depressive disorders, identity and lifestyle issues, trauma, relationship dysfunction, life, school and career transitions.
I'm currently a clinical psychotherapist at UCSF in the Department of Neuropsychiatry working with psychiatry patients, and with UCSF's COPES clinic working with Faculty, Residents, Fellows to support their mental health and wellness.
My clients tell me I am warm, supportive and productive in our sessions. Make no mistake, therapy is work. It’s also a healing process that necessitates participation, honesty and vulnerability. Our work will be tailored for your individual goals and what you’d like to achieve. By making purposeful change in your thinking and behavior, and learning how to be crystal clear with who you are and what you want can bring life-altering results.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Boston University and have advanced training from NYU, UCSD School of Medicine, UCSF and the Beck Institute for Anxiety Disorders.
