Hello, I'm Jenny, and I'm so glad you're here. With seventeen years of experience working with children and families involved in the child welfare system, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and families navigate their unique challenges. My approach is rooted in a trauma-informed perspective, which means I deeply understand the importance of acknowledging and integrating your life experiences into our work together to provide the most effective care possible.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST). Currently, I am also training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful psychotherapy technique designed to help people heal from trauma and other distressing experiences.
Throughout my career, I have focused on stabilizing family systems and engaging families to manage their relationships and interactions, even in the most challenging situations. I assist individuals in managing and reducing symptoms of traumatic distress, behavior modification, parent/teen conflict, anxiety, ADHD, and anger management. My goal is to create an open and safe environment where you can share your thoughts, concerns, and feelings without fear of judgment.
Choosing to begin therapy takes courage, and it is truly an honor for me to be part of your journey. My ultimate aim is to empower and support you and your family in becoming happier, healthier, and reaching your full potential. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to help guide you along the way.
