Hi, I’m Jennie. I’m a Supervisee in Clinical Social Work, working toward my LCSW licensure, and I’m passionate about supporting people as they navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and discover meaningful growth. I earned my Bachelor’s in Human Development and Sociology from Virginia Tech and my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.

My journey in mental health has been wonderfully diverse. I’ve worked in Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court, provided play therapy in schools, delivered applied behavior analysis therapy in early intervention and home settings, and offered outpatient psychotherapy both virtually and in person. While my roots are in children’s mental health, I’ve discovered a special joy in bringing those skills to adult therapy, helping clients reconnect with their inner child and infusing sessions with creativity, curiosity, and even a bit of play.

I take a holistic, integrative approach to therapy. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humanistic perspectives, trauma-informed care, attachment-based framework, as well as insights from my Yoga Teacher Training. I tailor my work to each person’s unique journey. Therapy, to me, is collaborative. I create a space where you can feel safe, heard, and empowered, while we explore what’s possible together.

I have experience supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, attachment and relational challenges, grief, and gender-affirming care. I particularly enjoy guiding women who are healing from relational or attachment trauma, helping them reclaim their sense of safety, connection, and self.

Outside of sessions, you’ll probably find me stretching at the yoga studio, wandering in nature, or curled up with a good book and my two cats.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready to explore growth, healing, and connection, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Reach out today, and let's get started.
