My goal as a therapist is to provide my clients with a safe, comforting, and nonjudgmental space where they can be their authentic selves. This environment is essential for effective therapeutic work. I encourage my clients to use our time together in a way that best meets their needs, so I tailor sessions to those individual requirements. Whether you need someone to vent to, someone to challenge your thinking, or someone to provide you with skills for change, we will align your treatment accordingly. If you're unsure about what you need, we can work together to explore that during our sessions as well!
I have been a therapist since 2015, working with a diverse range of adult issues. My passion lies in helping individuals dealing with trauma and PTSD. I do not believe in pathologizing my clients, as I think that over-diagnosing can do more harm than good. Instead, my approach is to validate and normalize your experiences rather than label them as conditions.
I believe it's essential to have a connection with a therapist before beginning this type of work. Therefore, I offer free 20-minute consultations to potential clients so we can determine if we are a good match. To schedule a consultation, please send me an email, and we can arrange a convenient time and date. Thank you!
I accept Aetna, United, Cigna, and Optum insurance for Maine clients only. For Florida clients, I am only able to accept private-pay clients at this time. Additionally, I use a sliding scale system based on your financial needs, which we can discuss during our consultation.
