I provide guidance and support to teens and young adults who are struggling with various life transitions such as processing family conflict, transition from high school to college, perfectionism, anxiety, student athletes who are struggling with time management, young adults and adults struggling with depression or anxiety, and adjusting to life after college. An important part of the therapy process is learning how to find balance, organize your thoughts and learn about what has shaped the story you've been telling yourself.
Being busy and physically active has always been a big part of my life and has driven me to my success as a therapist. However, it hasn't always been easy. I love working with college students, especially student athletes, who are struggling with the transition to college, high pressure with academics, sports, and adults in your life that just don't seem to understand what you're going through at the moment. It's not healthy to "tough it out." Let's figure out what's going on, identify some new strategies and bring the best version of yourself forward.
Making the decision to honor yourself and reach out to a therapist is often the hardest part of this process. If any of this has resonated with you while viewing the results of your search, contact me via email or phone to schedule your first appointment. Thursday evening and some weekend appointments are available at this time.
