I am a psychologist in Spokane. I specialize in relationship and family problems. I offer in-person as well as Telehealth appointment options.
I do therapy with individuals experiencing emotional problems and difficulties connecting to people. Often the people I work with have felt there is a part of them that is not well understood and seems to cause internal pain for them. They become stuck with trying to use coping that was helpful at one time but no longer match their needs. Problems often arise from feelings which get buried, miscommunicated, or cause rifts in their relationship.
Patients often feel quite anxious, depressed, irritable or constantly defeated. I work with individuals and couples to identify problematic patterns to more fully understand their difficulties and then develop healthy coping to improve their well being and relationships.
