That stinks, especially after the 18 year build up of hearing about how great college will be. Chances are that this time in your life can be awesome....or you may discover that you do in fact want to change paths but are not sure how to make that happen. I may be able to help. I have worked with adolescents and young adults for almost 25 years. My children are now young adults. My goal is not to "overanalyze" you, but rather to help you to figure out what works for you and what doesn't. I am pretty laid back. Counseling does not need to be exhausting or make you feel put on the spot. It can be conversational, simply giving you an opportunity to articulate your options, choose what is best for you, and see if that path fits.
