Jayree Stone
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and appreciate working with clients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationships, teen-parent conflicts, religious trauma/abuse and gender and sexual identity struggles. I have experience helping individuals, families, and couples work through life transitions and challenges including aging, relationships, financial hardships, social anxieties, spiritual identity, and divorce. We can't do it all on our own. I offer a safe space to help you manage and cope with your daily struggles.
I work primarily with teens and adults to offer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a primary approach. ACT is designed to help you manage and cope with negative thoughts and feelings in more effective ways allowing you to live a more value based and fulfilling life.
As a specialty, I also offer a skilled and supportive approach to teens and parenting. The teen years are one of the most difficult times of life for families. No one has perfected it but there are many positive ways for parents and teens to manage the typical challenges during this phase of life.
