Jasmine Whitson
If you're navigating anxiety, depression, mood changes, or simply feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself, you've come to the right place. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of nursing experience, I specialize in mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, and integrative psychiatric care for adolescents and adults.
Many of the patients I work with are looking for more than just treatment and medication management; they're looking for a provider who truly listens. Whether you've had past experiences where you didn't feel heard or you're seeking care for the first time, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and fully supported. Through comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and integrative mental health care that combines evidence-based treatment with lifestyle and holistic considerations, we'll work together to find an approach that fits your life.
Building genuine, trusting relationships with my patients is at the heart of everything I do. That connection allows me to be a reliable partner in your mental health journey, one who's with you as you gain clarity, restore stability, and rediscover a sense of control over your life.
Holistic, collaborative, and compassionate — that's the foundation of how I practice. Taking the time to deeply understand your individual experiences allows me to develop a treatment plan that feels aligned, effective, and sustainable. The goal isn't only to treat symptoms, but to help you find clarity and restore balance through care that is both evidence-based and sensitive to your whole self.
Working together, you can expect a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to be open and honest. Using evidence-based medication management alongside therapeutic communication, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), the focus is on helping you feel more stable, more in control, and more like yourself. My style is warm, attentive, and gently direct, and every aspect of your care is tailored to your unique needs, preferences, and goals.
My path to psychiatric care began during my years as an ICU nurse, where I witnessed firsthand the profound connection between mental and physical health. That experience shaped my commitment to providing holistic, compassionate care that treats the whole person. To every session, I bring a calm, grounded presence and strong clinical insight, so you can feel both safe and confident in the care you receive.
Outside of the office, you'll find me pursuing fitness and wellness, exploring new restaurants, traveling, observing wildlife, and spending time with family and friends.
