Janson Shehorn, LPC, NCC, is a genuine, caring, and enthusiastic individual. He has spent many years working with young people, from early elementary age to college age, in a variety of professional settings. He has a passion for making the most of every moment and helping others to reach a similar point of view. He aims to cultivate a positive working relationship during the counseling process. Janson has worked with children and adolescents age 8 - 17 in a crisis setting focusing on a variety of issues (Anger, Depression, Anxiety, Suicidal Ideation, etc. ) He also has experience working with college students dealing with burnout, relationship issues, social anxiety etc.

Janson believes that therapy is different for each individual and as such should be flexible. He believes that trust and hard work are the core elements of counseling. Janson's primary therapeutic influences come from existential, person centered, and cognitive behavioral.
