I believe in providing trauma-informed, person-centered care and specialize in working with clients who deal with serious mental illness and associated trauma, co-occurring disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic physical health problems, life transitions, and relational stress.
A bit about my approach to therapy:
Because there is no one-size-fits-all in therapy, I use an Eclectic approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). This allows me to tailor each session to meet your individual needs and preferences.
What you can expect from our first session:
During our initial session, we will explore what led you to begin therapy and collaborate on how we can meet your goal. In-between sessions, you will have skill-building strategies to use and check-ins during the following sessions to determine effectiveness. We will tailor your journey to promote symptom relief and sustained improvement using emotional regulation and cognitive restructuring.
