Hello: I am a highly trained therapist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and 35 years of experience. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and in providing a safe, caring and non-judgemental setting where you will feel free to discuss your problems and concerns. My approach to therapy is flexible, sometimes helping people deal with distressing symptoms and problems (e.g. painful breakups, panic attacks, etc.), and other times helping them gain a deeper understanding of their issues and themselves. I work well with people who suffer from depression, anxiety (e.g. panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder) and relationship issues, as well as difficulty with adjustments and transitions.
