I graduated high school with no real plan beyond vague musical ambitions, and it took a lot of good conversations with the right people to find a direction. That's what I try to be for college students now. If you're smart and capable but can't get yourself moving, or the semester is slipping and you don't know how to say so, we start there. I work on the practical side (time, tasks, follow-through) and the bigger questions underneath, and I meet students where they actually are: campus, a coffee shop, a trail, or video. Mentoring is not therapy, and it works alongside a counselor. In person in Boulder and Denver, and by video.
