Jaime Eckert has approximately fifteen years of experience in behavioral health working with a diverse patient population across multiple inpatient, outpatient and residential treatment settings. She possesses a broad range of knowledge and clinical expertise regarding psychiatric medication management for treatment of a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including but not limited to major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, insomnia, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Ms. Eckert particularly enjoys working with pregnant and post-partum women who may be experiencing mood or anxiety disorders, sleep disturbances, body image disturbances, or inability to concentrate or focus.

Ms. Eckert offers a warm, empathic and collaborative approach to treatment with her clients. She strives to empower clients by offering the most up-to-date, evidence-based clinical guidance during their treatment planning process so that they may most easily make informed decisions in order to achieve their ultimate treatment goals. Ms. Eckert believes in highlighting individuals’ personal strengths, skills and attributes that can be utilized in recovery while evaluating problematic symptoms or behaviors that they wish to change. It is Ms. Eckert’s philosophy that utilizing psychotherapy, coping skills, and healthy lifestyle choices in conjunction with psychiatric medications often produces the best possible outcomes in treatment.

Jaime Eckert is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in specializing in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. She received her Master of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester in June 2008 where she pursued a concentration in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. Ms. Eckert completed her undergraduate education at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and graduated with honors in May 2003. She is a member of the Psi Chi National Honors Society in Psychology, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society in Nursing, as well as the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
