Jacob Yancey
I specialize in working with adolescents, college students, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity exploration. I am able to support you by fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, support, and openness. Through our collaboration, we will be able to find ways to cope and work through what is troubling you.
Using techniques and interventions from CBT and DBT, we will identify how these feelings may be holding you back, and learn to integrate skills to help you step into the best version of yourself. Cooper, my dog, is also in training to be a therapy dog and is available to sit in sessions to provide comfort and joy.
I value creating a space where you feel affirmed and accepted each and every session. Whether you are new to the therapeutic process or have experienced therapy in the past, I would be honored to support and guide you through your therapeutic journey. I look forward to meeting and getting to know your authentic self along with you.
