Jackie Meltz, PsyD, LCSW
I am a seasoned psychotherapist with over 20 years experience. I help people to rapidly get to the core issues which keep them stuck in their lives, be it difficulties in their relationships or chronic depression/anger/anxiety, to name a few. The avoidance of painful thoughts/feelings, either from past or recent events is what creates suffering. When we avoid these painful experiences, we develop symptoms or problems. The treatment approaches I use are evidence-based, meaning they've been researched, tested, and proven to work. My work integrates somatic experiencing, attachment and psychodynamic theory, and CBT.
I take Aetna insurance, but not Aetna EAP.
