You’re anxious and frustrated. Maybe lost, confused, and overwhelmed. My hope as your therapist is that you see hope in just visiting this page. You're done hiding, avoiding, and repressing. This is step 1 towards healing.

I invite you to take a step further. Together, we will bring clarity to your situation, process unresolved emotions, and develop coping skills for enduring positive change.

When you are sitting across from me, my goal is for you to feel safe, understood, and encouraged. I am here to help you unlearn thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve you—to explore and unravel unhealthy habits, toxic ways of interacting with others, and harmful statements you unconsciously rehearse when you’re feeling your absolute worst. I focus on your strengths and take into account your family dynamics, how you were raised, and any trauma you have experienced.

In session with me, you can expect me to ask you how you deal with negative emotions. I also want to know about your relationships, culture, and community.

I received my Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, where I studied Clinical Mental Health with specialization in Marriage, Couples, and Family. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Harvard College.
