Hello, I'm Ivy. With over 30 years of experience as a licensed-certified social worker in Maryland and Delaware, I've had the privilege of working in various settings such as private practice, community mental health, hospitals, and schools. My journey has allowed me to learn and apply a wide range of therapeutic approaches, which I tailor to meet the unique needs of each client I work with.

Throughout my career, I've supported individuals from children to the elderly, addressing issues like depression, anxiety, PTSD, family and relationship challenges, medical illnesses, school concerns, parenting, gender identity concerns, and grief and loss. Although I am not a veteran myself, I have dedicated a significant part of my practice to working with veterans, understanding their unique experiences and providing the support they need.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to explore your concerns and develop strategies to enhance your well-being. My approach is client-centered, meaning I prioritize your goals and preferences in our sessions. Whether you're dealing with stress, managing a medical condition, or navigating complex family dynamics, I'm here to offer a compassionate and supportive space.

Outside of my professional life, I value continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in mental health care. This commitment ensures that I can provide the most effective and evidence-based treatments to my clients.

I would be honored to join you on your path to wellness. Let's work together to create a plan that supports your journey toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
