Hi there. I’m Dr. Novick, and I specialize in evidence-based therapy that considers each person’s unique background and needs. My goal is to help individuals improve their mental health and quality of life by using scientifically-supported methods tailored to them. We are vibrantly different, and yet remarkably the same – my approach reflects this belief.
My approach is a great fit for college students, who often face major transitions during school and emerging adulthood.
I help students understand how their mental health connects with their relationships and life events. I support them in dealing with changes, conflicts, grief (related to the death of someone), and feelings of loneliness. Through our work, students gain a better understanding of their mental health, learn how to cope with life challenges, and reduce stress in their relationships.
For some students, we also focus on building healthy daily routines. Life changes can throw off routines, especially things like sleep schedules, which can worsen mental health symptoms. I help students create routines that support their well-being.
I can provide you with paperwork for reimbursement from your insurance company if you are seeking out-of-network sessions.
