Integrative Psychiatry
The students who find the most success in my practice usually come to me when they feel like they’re "doing everything right" on the outside, but feeling completely overwhelmed on the inside.
While everyone’s story is unique, many of the students I work with share these common experiences:
The Weight of High Expectations: You’ve always been the "reliable one" or the high achiever. Now, the pressure to maintain that image—while navigating intense academic loads or career transitions—is starting to feel unsustainable.
The "Always On" Brain: You might struggle to quiet your thoughts at night, constantly running through "what-if" scenarios or replayng conversations from earlier in the day.
Navigating Transitions: Whether it’s moving to a new city, starting a challenging graduate program, or shifting your identity, you’re feeling the friction of being in "the middle" of who you were and who you're becoming.
Emotional Burnout: You’re tired of feeling like you have to have it all figured out. You're looking for a space where you don't have to perform and can finally take the mask off.
My Approach to Our Work
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We work best together if you are looking for a collaborative partner—someone who will listen deeply but also provide you with practical, "in-the-moment" tools to manage stress and reclaim your sense of self.
You don't need to have a perfect "reason" for seeking therapy. If you feel like you’re carrying more than you should have to, we’ll likely be a great fit.
