Aghashiyah Wilson
First, I want to commend you on taking the step towards creating a more meaningful relationship with yourself through therapy. Understanding ourselves more deeply can feel scary but developing the awareness and skills on how to move forward with any of life’s challenges can feel empowering. I pride myself on creating a safe and inviting space to help you make the best decisions for you. I also understand that no two people are the same and as such, I tailor my skills to meet your specific needs.
I am passionate in working with those who are struggling with women’s issues, anxiety, life transitions, overcoming difficult past experiences and trauma, borderline personality disorder, self-esteem issues, codependency, relationship issues, and mood disorders such as bi-polar and depression. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I take a more holistic approach to healing by helping to connect the mind, body and spirit.
As a warm, compassionate, and caring clinician, I utilize the empowerment approach to help you identify your strengths and utilize them to help you thrive. We will work together to adjust your thoughts and behaviors to help you live a healthier and more fulfilling life.
In my free time I enjoy having fun and engaging in self-care! I enjoy shopping, trying new restaurants, traveling, spending quality time with my family and friends and giving back to my community with my sorority sisters.
Please feel free to inquire about how I can help you begin your healing journey!
