Imperial Counseling LLC works with clients to find common ground between one's heart, mind, body, and soul to make positive behavioral changes through evidence-based therapeutic practices. It is our mission to do no harm, to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves, and to support each client in their journey to healing, self-enlightenment, and finding their version of their best self.

Meet our two therapists:
Michelle Sullivan, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
As a queer woman who has never fit into mainstream culture, I know the feeling of going to therapy and not wanting to have to educate your counselor about your identity. It is always my goal to create a non-judgmental and empathetic space for my clients. Regardless of whether I am approaching treatment with a multicultural, queer, feminist, or psychodynamic framework, my primary theoretical orientation is always client-centered. My specialties include obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), LGBTQ+ issues, and clinical letters for gender-affirming care. I am also kink and polyamory friendly/affirming and sex-positive.
One of the biggest issues for individuals living with OCD is that it does not look like any one thing. Sometimes you have obsessions or compulsions and you don’t know why, but they are still valid. You are not alone. Research shows that 70% of people who seek Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy for OCD achieve long-term symptom relief. Therapy works! As a therapist trained in ERP, I am ready to support you in your journey. Book a free 15-minute consultation with me via my website link to begin your path of healing and growth with a therapist who is conscious of your identity but does not believe in stigmatizing it.
