I graduated from Georgia State University in 1993. Since that time, I have worked in the private practice sector, and also at SummitRidge Psychiatric Hospital. At SummitRidge, I worked on both the adult and adolescent unit. I led a support group for teenagers during that time. I often speak to teacher and school counselor groups on topics related to adolescents and parenting teens. I believe people usually behave in the best ways they know how.
