Howard Rossman

Psychologist, Ph.D
Accepting clients Last Updated 21 days ago

I have been in practice since the early 1970's During that time I have worked in schools, mental heath clinics, family service centers, and private practice. I was the director of a therapeutic day school for 30 years (Dearborn Academy) and have served on boards and provided supervision, oversight, and direct work with chlidren, adolescents, families and adults. In all my work I am and have been focused on the needs of my clientele, stressing positive, safe, and trusting relationships within which people can address their needs and the problems that brought them to seek help. I mold the therapy to address the clients' needs. I use a variety of techniques, including psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, play, and cognitive behavioral therapy
to help clients with their underling depression, anxiety and other issues. I have treated clients with trauma, learning disabilities, and those who are on the Autism Spectrum and other psychological issues. I am compassionate and work with people to be compassionate to themselves as they face life's challenges.
