A PERSONAL NOTE: MY FORENSIC WORK RELATED TO SEXUAL ABUSE
As a survivor of sexual abuse, I became deeply driven to understand why—why someone would inflict such harm. That question led me into forensic psychology, where I spent 10 years treating sexual offenders, individuals widely despised by society.
Over time, I realized that preventing future harm required helping offenders understand the origins of their actions. Few psychologists—especially survivors who fully grasp the impact—choose this path. But I knew that without effective treatment, the cycle continues. My mission became clear: NO MORE VICTIMS.
