Welcome! If anxiety, obsessive thoughts, rituals, or struggles with body image are draining your time and energy, I hope I can help. I am a licensed psychologist in Massachusetts with specialized training and over 10 years of experience assessing and treating anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), body-focused repetitive behaviors (hair pulling, skin picking, etc), emetophobia (fear of vomit), body dysmorphic disorder, and related conditions in adults. I use evidence-based approaches – that is, assessment and treatment methods shown through research to be effective for my areas of specialization.

Alongside my private practice, I am Director of Clinical Research at HabitAware, a company that makes innovative tools to help people with body-focused repetitive behaviors and other mental health conditions. Before this role, I was on faculty at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for OCD and Related Disorders. There, I conducted research related to improving the assessment and treatment of body dysmorphic disorder, OCD, and related conditions, and I supervised advanced doctoral and postdoctoral trainees in their adult cognitive behavioral therapy cases. I am actively involved in the field of OCD and related disorders through roles in professional organizations such as the International OCD Foundation, and I serve on the editorial board for the Journal of Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me for more information about my practice, or to find out if I may be a good fit to work with you. I will likely suggest a 10-15 minute no-cost phone consultation as a first step. I look forward to hearing from you!
