Hellen Gachuhi
About Me:
Mental health impacts every part of life, and I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, families, and young adults navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance abuse, family breakups, and sleep disorders. I provide a safe, non-judgmental virtual space where clients can share their experiences openly, feel heard, and receive practical guidance tailored to their needs. My goal is to empower clients to manage emotions, build coping skills, and move toward lasting well-being—all from the comfort and privacy of their own space.
My Approach to Care:
I take an empathetic, client-centered approach, using active listening, open-ended questions, and non-judgmental language to create a collaborative and supportive environment. I combine therapeutic conversation with practical strategies, always guided by honesty, compassion, and understanding. I strive to meet each client where they are and focus on holistic, telehealth care that addresses emotional, psychological, and social factors affecting mental health.
What to Expect in Your First Session:
During your first telehealth session, I’ll introduce myself and explain how virtual appointments work. You’ll have the chance to ask questions and get comfortable with the process. Together, we’ll discuss your goals, explore your concerns, and start building a personalized plan. Sessions are interactive, safe, and designed to leave you feeling understood, supported, and empowered to take the next steps in your mental health journey—all online, from wherever you feel most comfortable.
