Hello, I'm Heather, a licensed therapist of 20+ years and graduate of the University of Michigan.
With over 26 years of professional experience, I have had the privilege of helping clients navigate through various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, stress, grief and loss, and parenting issues. I work with adults, couples, teens, children, and families, offering a supportive and understanding environment for all my clients.
I use a client-centered, nonjudgmental approach in therapy. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. I always tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet the client's unique and specific needs. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard and valued, and where we can work together to address your concerns and achieve your personal goals.
Whether you're dealing with the complexities of ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, or navigating life transitions and relationship issues, I am here to support you. I also offer specialized support for LGBTQIA+ individuals, military veterans, and individuals dealing with multicultural and diversity issues. My approach is holistic, considering all aspects of your life and experiences to provide comprehensive care.
Outside of my professional life, I am deeply committed to ongoing learning and staying current with the latest therapeutic techniques and research. This dedication ensures that I can offer you the most effective and evidence-based treatments available.
If you're ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create a path forward that feels right for you.
