Heather A. Locke Counseling

Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, LAC, LMHC, LCDP
Accepting clients Last Updated 6 days ago

I believe in the restorative power of hope. Over the course of my career I have been able to support clients to internalize the belief that they can make change in their lives. From focusing on eliminating inner negative chatter to processing an acute trauma, I strive to create opportunities for the achievement of one's goals. Through partnership, trust and the sharing of knowledge, real movement can occur. There is hope. Licensed as both a mental health and addictions specialist counselor, I work with both individuals and couples. I practice remotely in Colorado and Rhode Island.

My practice approach starts with identifying how to begin shifting what isn't providing benefit, with behavioral, cognitive and emotional evolution. This is a strengths-based, collaborative process grounded in trust and respect. I completed my Master of Arts and Master of Education in Psychological Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University.

My deep professional satisfaction is grounded in the experience of growth and recovery that clients obtain through our efforts. I am available for initial phone consultations to discuss your needs and how we might partner in your care.
